ZURICH.-Two Pablo Picasso paintings worth around $4.5 million were stolen from a museum in eastern Switzerland, according to Swiss authorities. The works are titled “Tete de Cheval” (1962) and “Verre et pichet” (1944) and were stolen this past Wednesday from a cultural center located in the town of Pfaeffikon. According to police, the thieves left the building around 7pm local time. The security guards learned about the theft shortly after the thieves left because the security alarm was set off. The two Picasso paintings were on loan from the Sprengel Museum in Hanover, Germany
